Weber vs. Dellorto Airbox

I own a '73 +2S/130 with Dellorto carbs. It came with some cheapo pancake air filters which I would like to replace. I saw an ad for someone listing an original airbox for Weber carbs and wondering if anyone would know if this would also fit a Dellorto setup? I would expect that I may have to make a new backing plate to fit the carbs but hoping that the fiberglass airbox itself could be adapted.
If this is not a viable option, I would be interested any leads for a Dellorto airbox and/or any suggestions on other good aftermarket air filters.
Cheers!
Steve

If you look at the archives, you will see that there are several types of airboxes, square, round, +2, etc.
I can tell you that when I switched from Webers to Dellortos, I utilized the same airbox, works perfectly. This was on a 2 seat Elan, so your case could be different.
