Dellorto jets

Was playing with the slow run jets because it seems a bit rich when ticking over. Borrowed a set from another pair of carbs to try. The installed set of jets are short and look just like a Weber main jet, but the other set have a tube extending out the bottom of the jet. The emulsion tube for the slow runs are also different. One has a jet hole in the top, but the other is blank with an air hole in the side at the top of the emulsion tube.
Is there any mechanical difference between the jets, or are they completely interchangeable?
