Have finally received new engine parts from Burton for my engine rebuild. Been searching any info I can find on the net before I start assembling the motor.

New fresh bores +30 oversize AE pistons, undersize 20 mains and BE
CPL2 camshafts, ported weber head

Thinking of light steel flywheel - QED?

Remember reading somewhere a long while back about the con-rods being designed the wrong way round??? Squirt holes on the opposite side?

Any advice, tips will be most appreciated. TIA.

Cheers,
Brian

The book by Miles Wilkins, on the Twincam, may have the info you're looking for.
