Cautionary Pictures

In case there was any doubt about modern fuels (at least in California) not playing nicely with old rubber I’ve attached a couple of pictures of what I discovered after investigating a strong fuel smell in my +2. The filler connector had been used previously but was in outwardly good condition when installed during rebuild ~18 months ago.

Ugh.

I just checked pure-gas.org for San Diego, and it's not good.

Yep; lots of sunshine, IPA and fish tacos but not a lot of options for fuel….
