Hi all,
I have taken the auxilary venturis out of my carbs and noticed that there is a number near the hole where the air/fuel mixture enters the venturi. What , if anything, does this number represent?
I have a number 3 on two venturis and 2 and a 4 on the other two venturis.
Steve.

It's likely just a mould number. The Weber manual shows the number is suppose to be on the OD opposite the side entrance hole. For a 40DCOE that should either a 4.5 or 3.5mm size. Those values are the equivalent to the cross-sectional area of the smallest part of that passageway.
