Wanted Caterham SV , must be the SV model ie longer and wider chassis .
Don't mind the K series engined cars .
Will either sell or PX my Plus 2 5 speed , 1971 , in yellow if any one interested ,
Apologies to anyone offended by this request , still keeping my Elan S4 FHC though ,

If you just want a race car I'd squeeze into the standard chassis if I were you as the SV's handling is slightly compromised in my opinion. I'm over 100kg , 5'11" and have a standard chassis 420R. It is snug. If it's a road car, be as comfortable as you like.

620R , stunning car ,Would probably be the death of me, but guaranteed to loose my licence within the summer months of 2023 .
Was thinking of a nice low mileage SV , 1800 K series SV , or if I could get a PX / sale on my Plus 2, either a 310R of preferably 410R , again both must be the SV chassis .
Anyone want a yellow 1971 , 5 speed +2 5 speed , on a galvanised Lotus chassis , freshly rebuilt engine and 5 speed gearbox , re-upholstered, new carpets , new door seals , new ( not refurbished ) +2 alloys from Mattys with new tyres and spinners etc , etc .
Loads of history and receipts , nice car .
I'll advertise the +2 on here in the next couple of weeks as I'll put it through an MOT when I get time.
Looking for best cash offer around 20K as I've made my mind up its got to go so I can scratch the Caterham itch .

Not interested , I spoke with Tom ( Sales ) last Saturday about both my Elise and Elan , ' Not taking anything that old', he said , and that was for the new 310 S they currently have in.
Theres a lot of dealers selling the Caterhams , mostly south of Preston , Lancashire , certain ones not taking PX's ,others knowing little of the Elan as a re-sale item .
I'd rather sell the +2 for cash , then approach a Caterham dealer or private seller.
I'm willing to consider a genuine cash offer for the plus 2 to move things along .
Interestingly , I contacted a dealer with a very nice 10,000 mile Caterham SV , 1800 K series engine fitted , he won't drop a penny even for a cash sale , or take a PX.
Cash certainly not king in this case.

It seems in the Caterham world it's a sellers market and has been for a couple of years.
