Hi -- I've been looking for a while and figured I'd post here to see if any has a SMITHS FG2530/71 fuel gauge for a S2 restoration that I'm working on. If you have one (pref working), I'm interested.

Interested in this gauge myself, I see the one on offer may have the same number but is a completely different instrument, Bi metal operation, and will need a different tank unit.

I would try giving them a call.
They build to order, and may well be able to make both sorts.

@David1953 I reached out to them. They only supply the bimetal unit, needs a new bimetal sender as well for it to function. The face is similar but is different than the FG2530/71, where it reads 12V. I asked them if they can modify it to a coil version and they said no this is the only version they sell.
So, looks like that idea didn't work. Back to sourcing a FG2530/71 fuel gauge. If anyone has one, I'm very interested.

Do you have an inoperable gauge with a face? Any of that family of numbers will work. They fit early sprite/midget, mga, TR3,and many others. The suffix on the number is the face style. Many are very similar. I'm thinking bugeye sprite...face can easily be swapped if you have it.

@billmack unfortunately I don't. I'd be open to a nonfunctioning gauge where the face is restorable.
