Cylinder head gasket

PostPost by: JohnMorin » Sat Sep 03, 2022 1:35 pm

Hi

Stupid question, but it's a long time since I last did this and I didn't take note when dismantling. I have the standard cylinder head gasket, one side copper the other steel (I think it's steel). Which side goes to the block? I have a feeling it's the copper side but can someone please confirm.

Thanks

Regards

It can only fit one way or the holes will not line up.........copper to top.
