My Stainless exhaust is similar to yours Matt.
my original bracket did not line up with the hole in the exhaust.
I made a new bracket with four holes instead of two and inside I glassed in a 5mm thick piece of aluminium with four tapped holes for the bolts to come in from the outside. Making the whole arrangement a lot stronger.
This then lined up with the exhaust hole and I bought an original hanger from one of the usual suspects.
For the front part of the rear silencer, I made a bracket from aluminium and used two Powerflex original "Mini" exhaust cotton reels to mount the exhaust to.
The original mounting had always bothered me. especially mounting that rear bracket to such thin fibreglass. In my case it was practically worn through and just about to break off. It's much stronger now and after 28 years of ownership I finally have an exhaust that does not wobble around.
