Clearing up I came across this rod wrapped in anti-rust paper and looking automotive.

IMG_8469.JPG and

Main diameter 3/8" (9.6 mm)
Spigot diameter 19/64" (7.7 mm)
Main length to shoulder 3 1/64" (76.5 mm)
Spigot length 15/16" (23.6 mm)

Both ends are chamfered but the shoulder is square.

I am overwhelmed by your response and it surely is a valve guide drift, the dimensions are perfect as guide bore in head is 0.500". I don't remember buying it so it must have been a long time ago; does anyone want it?

Thanks all!

Is the small size 5/16"?

If it is 5/16" and still available I would like it please. If so please let me know how much you want for it (and post) and I'll send some money over to you.

Cheers.
Al

Yup, 1/64" under it and as you sent me a couple of camshaft dowels free in 2017 I'll do the same for you!

PM your address and it's a deal!
