Does anyone have any recommendations for an engineering shop in the Hampshire/Surry/Berkshire border area who can do crank grinding?

Hello
I just had some work done on my vintage tractor (lockdown project!) by Ring Engineering in Hayes, Midd'x.
They did a good job and were open to a no-invoice transaction if you get my drift.
I have no affiliation.
Good luck
Nick.

I used Saunders in Cadnam, very traditional and did a good job, even gave me an invoice :)

I have used Serdi UK in Uxbridge for cylinder head work, and was pleased with their work. I assume they can do any type of engine machine shop work. They might be worth a call.

Hope this helps,

Richard Hawkins

Jim Stokes in Waterlooville may be too far south for you but ground the thrust faces to my dimensions without query when I had an unusual problem. Very good to deal with.

I would also recommend Jim Stokes. They did a good job of my head skim and not too expensive.
