Posted: Wed Apr 15, 2020 6:19 pmI had planned to paint mine myself using the VHT paint as above, but both cans I got sort of exploded around the nozzle and squirted all the paint out around the nozzle not through it. Luckily I was outside and no harm done. So, took it to the local powder coating place and they made a great job. I then just carefully removed the paint off the ribs and polished them. The finish they used is very similar to the crinkle finish used originally.
