Right Angled Tailpipe?
Posted: Sat Aug 11, 2018 10:43 amI am always having to clean exhaust dirt off the back of my yellow +2. My 2.5 inch tailpipe sticks out about 3 inches beyond the rear bumper, but the Kamm tail of the +2 just sucks the gases back against the rear of the car. I would not be surprised if the Elan was the same.
The mixture is OK - not too rich.
Has anyone tried a right-angled extension on their tailpipe pointing downwards? I have a feeling that it won't make any difference, but you never know....
