Must be catching!..... I also went out to the garage about 8 years ago to follow up on a misfire and ended up in a full body off resto. Shell back from Option One and now ready to begin rebuild - should be ready in another 8 years. (Also resisting the temptation to do the same wih my Alfa Spider - for now).

The stripping of the Elan engine bay is now complete, wit the exception of the steering rack, which will be done soon.
Now preparation for painting can begin.
Oh....... and the suspension could do with an overhaul too.
