Re-installing Plus 2 engine

Well done Andy.
I put the car in Gear and turn the Crankshaft Pulley Bolt with a Spanner to help the Splines click into line.
For sure you need to stay zen very zen :mrgreen:

That's the way of engine tp gear box connection - I've struggled sometimes when they are out of the car.
As Alan says - it's a zen thing!

That?s exactly what I did Alan. Just pulled the two a tiny bit closer together. Then turned the crank. I felt it pop in! Really satisfying! As you say stay zen, and drink a cuppa. Actually I had two!

Hated having to fiddle around the manifold though!! :roll:

Just edited to add this picture. Although I understand from previous posts the ?load leveller? is not strictly necessary, having done this job completely solo, I found it absolutely invaluable.
