Elan Sprint-Engine appears to sit very high *Bonnet*

Not original, but I have replaced the exhaust manifold studs in the head with cap head Allen screws, it makes it so much easier to get the manifold off if you have to with everything else still in situ. I know purists won't like it and I'll get comments about damaging the threads in the head, but I don't remove it often so the threads get little use and I've had no problems in the 30+ years it's been like that.
