Best cylinder head porting

PostPost by: promotor » Thu Jun 08, 2017 6:55 pm

I have bought myself a nice new old stock Twincam head (rather than buying a modern reproduction as I wanted cam bucket sleeves and bearings for the cams) and I'm considering which route to go with it. I'll probably run it in standard form initially to make sure it's water/oil tight.

I'm interested to know if any one has experience of having a CNC ported cylinder head? I've looked at "CNC Heads" and their prices are phenomenal to say the least. There's also no mention of whether the chambers are re-worked on their website either. What other companies are there offering a quality CNC service?

As for hand porting who does a good job with Twincam heads? I would probably do it myself if it weren't for the rarity of the head so I fancy passing the buck!

Cheers for the info - I imagine it'll be a bit costly getting it to and from him not to mention the risk of posting it.

Would prefer someone in the UK!
