Choke Cable Thread

Hello All

I would like to install a choke cable on my dash to my dellorto's and would like to know if someone can recommend a supplier. I actually don't ever need the choke however I would just like to add it for completeness.

I recently purchased a choke cable from Ebay however the threaded element where the twist handle goes through the dashboard was too short i.e. there is not enough thread to tighten the choke cable to the dashboard.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

As far as i know they are a period Ford item from something like a Zephyr/Zodiac? My outer was ok but the knob was incorrect as it was an aftermarket item. I pulled the inner from a Mk 3 Zephyr and the knob matches the light switch perfectly (S130), that said i only assume that's how it should be?
