Hello James,

I wish I had a spare for you.

Sometimes Tony Ingram has spare rods for sale. Another source is Jay Ivey at Ivey Engines in Portland. The Carillo rods that both Tony and Jay sell are really nice pieces.

Regards,
Dan

Thanks Dan, I've been working with Tony on another engine build and did ask him.
He suggested the Chinese forged items.
If I don't get something here, it's probably the way I will go
Thanks again
James

Just noticed this post. I have a set from my 3 cylinder twin cam (broke a wrist pin!) core motor that have been polished on the beams, so not sure what that mean from a balance perspective. Still in the motor, though, so would be a week or so before I get to taking them out for inspection.

Just noticed that RD has a used 125E rod listed in their garage sale section.
