noticed the slightest of coolant drips under the car recently. 3 drips at most. I searched around and found this (pictured) seems to be coming from between the timing cover and block? Is this a thing?

cheers

If you zoom n on the photo, there appears to be coolant further up towards the exhaust manifold. I would look at the head gasket as a possible area for the leak.

Most likely source is from the drain hole between the pump seal and bearing under the pump pulley. A small leak past the seal can drip out the drain and get blown back over the engine and may end up where you see it.

Also possible its a head gasket leak. Cracks in the front cover and leaks around the water pump assembly and past the front cover joins also possible.

I would run the car up to temperature while stationary and look carefully to trace back to see where the leak is coming from if possible.

Do you have a uv light? Anti-freeze glows under uv light & will be much easier to see "in darkness "

check for play in waterpump pulley which could mean the waterpump is on the way out. When the bearing goes it can be very sudden. Had this happen twice in the past.
