Has any one had to replace the rubber(?) sealing ring in the oil filler cap recently? Where did you get one from. Are they even available on their own does any one know?
It is approx 56od 42id and 1.5 thick all mm. Oil resistant obviously. Where could I find such a thing?
Thanks.
Keith.

Could make one up easy enough with some 1.5mm rubber sheet and a sharp blade. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rubber-Sheet- ... Vk4NurbXLg

Keith,
If you have a gasket cutting company near you, they can probably do this for you while you wait. I tried nitrile rubber, but that was inadequate, and ended up using viton which I hope will last.

Thanks everyone. Yes a better search on my part should have been done.
Shame about the ?5 postage for a ?1.50 item. Maybe will wait till I need some other stuff.
