Just taken delivery of my new aluminium full width rad from Coolex. Ordered last Thursday and arrived Tuesday. It looks well made and the company have a lot of experience with Elan radiators. I will update this thread regarding installation and cooling results.

Coolex also recored my wide Marston radiator, with the "3 row Fatboy" core.

Excellent company and products.

I have waited to post details until my rad was fitted into car as they are a tight on width, height and drop.

In my case I had to fit the body to the rolling chassis.
Will post photos later when I have resized them.

Hello All,

I suppose many people would think it is just a job for me and my team, but the sense of satisfaction we all get when some praise like yours is received gives us all a boost. Thank you all for the kind comments and we are pleased to serve a passionate community such as the Elan owner forum.

Fitted one of their wide radiators into my elan. Tight fit but very well made. They told me to try one fan and not two as you often see. They were correct no overheating problems at all. I would highly recommend this firm

Just finished fitting the new rad. Fits like a glove, only a small amount of metal removed from the side wings required. Found enough space to reposition the coil, overflow bottle and fan temp switch. Hope to try it out tomorrow.

Much smarter location for the temperature sensor than the stock unit. Dan
