Phil (l10tus),any pictures of your setup?

If you are looking for a really big radiator, take a look at the offerings at wizardcooling.com. I used a 22" do it yourself unit for the Zetec Plus2 conversion. A bit too wide for easy installation of the air ducting to the carbs air box. The 20" would have been easier.

Perhaps it's of interest for you and others, what i've done. All is now 25 years old and works perfect. Water contents is minimal and therefore the weight too. I hope that everything will live longer, than myself. I get a big problem if the radiator is defective. Today knows nobody, from where the radiator comes.
All what I know he comes from the competition scene.
I would like to buy a same new and store him.
When somebody knows something about my radiator, let's
me know. Thanks in advance.

I fitted a 'Griffin' radiator that I bought, slightly used, on ebay. I had a friend who is an expert welder transfer the mounting lugs from the bottom to the top and turned it upside down. Now both the inlet and outlet are on the l/h side-the radiator is a 'Scirocco' double pass style. I mounted it forward, in the nose and it makes working on the engine so much easier.

My car is probably equiped with a 74?C thermostat, as the temperature is regulated to this value when driving.
I have no idea where the radiator comes from, it was fitted by the previous owner. I'll have a look in the bills.
