Just align the centre of the movement half way across the arc tangential to the cable guides with the flaps central...

Useful to know John. I was more referring to lining up the splines on the levers with those on the shafts; they are very fine and try as I might I couldn't feel a positive engagement before pushing them on. In the end I got frustrated and just tapped the levers on where they should be thinking that the material of the levers is fairly soft and they would either cut a new engagement of self align... whatever happened it worked ok although I did cross-drill one and put a split pin in but can't remember why exactly :oops:

Others may be more scientific!

this is t.g. ONE component which is much simpler in my s3 elan - no foam anywheres.... it must be much larger too. sandy
