One of the advantages of electronic ignition is that the system is capable of using a larger spark plug gap, up to 0.050”.
Has anyone found a spark plug that suits our engines and also has the benefit of a larger gap?

I'm anything but an engine guy. That said, for a long time now I've been running electronic ignition, Pertronix, with NGK BP6ES set at .035. It's been my experience that the plugs run a bit dirtier when gapped more than that, like .040 or more. There are probably other factors though.
So, good question, I'm curious what others have found.
