Dip / Main Beam Headlight Swtich (Stalk) Rebuild

The Dip Main Beam switch on the steering column was acting intermittantly, so I searched around for a document on how to rebuild it. Nothing here, but found this document on a Triumph forum:

As the switches are not inexpensive I thought I'd have a go figuring out what was wrong with mine. Easy enough to remove from the column, upon removal found the main switch plate flapping around:

Fortunately the switch contacts were in excellent condition . So I recrimped the body to grip the switch plate & re-assembled:

Reconnected & all is well
