Hi
What is the correct position for the wiper arms in a LHD car. I have an elan s3 and a plus 2 and the wiper arms are in the oposite side of the driver. Is this correct? I bought for the plus 2 the arms and I bought the incorrect side...
Cheers

Many (too many) threads on this topic, but finding them is a trick. The Gallery section helps. Here's one viewtopic.php?f=38&t=35523

I prefer the wipers to park on the drivers side ( as they should ) , so the first part of the sweep clears the drivers vision.
The camwheel in the wiper motor can be set to achieve either , and the tips of the wiper arms ( and therefore the wipers ) can be " set " , ( carefully in a vice ) to give flush fitting to the screen bottom.

Mine is RHD and the wipers park on the opposite side to the driver. Centre most wiper goes down nearly flat, but the other has to sit at quite an angle otherwise the curve of the windscreen doens't allow the blade to contact it properly and then it bends and leaves a big patch of un-wiped windscreen.

My RHD parks on the right, like TBG's, and I always get a good wipe on the driver's side while the LH side usually smears, despite it lying flat on the widscreen. I have clean-screen in the water but it makes no difference.

I posted in the link that was noted above but since then decided to change as I ended up going with two cranked wiper arms which I like better is it laid down the right sided wiper blade a little bit better on my left hand drive car where they do park in front of the driver on the left-hand side, Gordon Sauer

Mine is the same as yours & TBG's but they don't go fully flat.. might just need a tweak, but they have had a decent workout in recent days in real rain, used the washers for the first time yesterday to clear screen because of low sun. Seems to clear nicely on both sides.
