Plus 2 electrical issues - lights and wipers

I have a 1968 plus 2 elan which I have just completed rebuilding the front suspension on.

After getting it started again I tried the lights and neither side or pop up lights come on. Also the windscreen wipers do not work.

All the gauges and the electric windows work. The panel lights and heater fan have not worked since I bought the car and are next on the list.

I have checked the 2 fuses at the bulkhead and they are ok with 12v at each of the 2.

Any suggestions where to start?

There is an earth post on the chassis down by the fuel pump area

Undo the nut, clean connectors and use a serrated washer between each ring connector and put one at the bottom so it digs into the chassis.

Thanks for getting back and apologies for not replying earlier.

The weather is pretty bad here in oxford at present or I have not had time but I will look at this at the weekend. I presume that this just earths some items whilst others are earthed separately.
