S3 cigar lighter

My cigar lighter doesn't work and while rummaging around behind the dash, I see this misplaced
wire with a threaded female end. I assume this is the 12v needed for the cigar lighter because the
post on the back of the lighter assembly is threaded.

Is this some special wire, because of the black braided wrap? Maybe its the wire supplied with the
assembly (Lucas?) when acquired by Lotus?
Is the end that is in the 4 connector female bullet, a male bullet? Because it does not want to come out.

Well, I think I got this thing figured out. Yes, it has unscrewed from the back of the lighter assembly and I'm
missing a light for it. The translucent ring was hidden behind the dash. Thanks all!
