Thanks. It came with the car when it left Lotus in 1974. In 1982, I had the Lotus Service Garage fit a speaker to the rear parcel shelf so that two speakers were fitted (the Turnolock came with a single speaker) but obviously it is still the mono sound.

The Turnolock in my Europa has been adapted for iPod which is a good mod to make.

Yes, cheap as chips but I'm betting that:-

  • it will sound really terrible
  • have very poor Bluetooth performance
  • be a pain to couple with your phone
..and there's nothing retro about that blue LED display, although one of the pictures shows it as white.

These are the reasons I didn't get one myself. On the other hand, take a punt at ?11 and let us know if I'm right or wrong!
