I also have a Battery Brain on my Plus 2. Really like not having to disassemble the boot floor to access the battery terminals when I want to work in the car with no electrics live. On the Plus 2 the unit is completely out of sight mounted directly to the battery terminal, so reasonably easy to install and completely reversible if wanted.

Interesting on the anti-theft differences with generator or alternator. Did not know that.

Sounds like the Original Poster has a way forward, but my vote was to completely eliminate the anti-theft switch and all of its associated wiring. Years ago spent an entire afternoon in the Whistler Mountain parking lot due to either failure or unintended activation if this devise. We had no idea Is was a ?feature? of my friend?s new car. That was so long ago I actually fit in the back seat!
