I'm having trouble finding the interior lights that adorn the 'B' pillar in my S3 pre airflow coupe. Looks
very similar to the dash mounted light but they have no switch and the body of the light is
solid, ie, never had a provision for a switch; clearly different from the dash light.

So, what is/are the source(s) for this interior light? Vendors seem to carry only the dash light.

I did and all I can find there is the dash light, although they call it an interior light, but
it has a switch.

With some digging, it looks like it is also the license plate light for an S1, S2, and quite hard to find.

Kelvedon used to carry them I believe.

You're correct, I hadn't noticed the switch on the top. I was mainly looking at the wires.
Most switched ones are 3 wires I believe and this looked like it only had 2.

The S2's had these Sparto (no switch) lights on the dash and also as a number plate light, the S3 coupe's had one on the dash and two as interior lights. They are both scarce and expensive (if you can find them) but some Jaguars had very similar ones as these on fleabay:
From memory the base was thicker on the Jag ones, black plastic I think.

I've sourced them for my S2 on ebay.
Going rate seems to be about ?90!
The Jag ones are cheaper, without switch, but different.
