The rear facing lamps in the doors of my 130S are quite cracked around the screw holes and beyond another repair. The plastic has become quite brittle.
New are only available in white as far as I can find. My MOT tester confirms this is legal if red coloured festoon bulbs/led's are used.
However, has anybody tried to spray white replacements with red transculent lens paint to create a more original look, and if so how well did they come out? They're not cheap, nor is the paint, so would hate to make a pig's ear of it, or they look plain wrong.
Cheers.

Hi
on the old family hack I had a cracked headlight lamps and I used Summit Lens Repair Tape ( available in a 3 colour pack from halfords in the UK). perhaps one or two layers of that over a plain clear lens may do the trick. worth a try as it only costs ?5 for a 3 roll pack
hope this helps best of luck
