Little red light on dash for S3
Posted: Sat Dec 02, 2017 5:32 pmWhat's the purpose of the red light on the dash pictured here? The tach needle points to it. It's not my car shown but my S3 has the same light in the same position.

entire parking brake mechanism is missing..so.... makes sense.

Posted: Sat Dec 02, 2017 11:27 pmIf the two (2) wires to the micro switch on the hand brake are connected, the light will come on. On my P2, the light is also connected to the hydraulic line balance bar in a dual braking system. If the bar is not centered, it will also illuminate the light.
