Led flasher postscript

I earlier posted (now removed, not to waste members time) about a problem with LED flashers. Problem resolved.

The OEM Niles hazard flasher works even if wired backwards (B and L) reversed while not surprisingly the new LED flasher does not. Wiring the new flasher correctly it works fine.

As the original owner, I?m pretty sure the backward wiring (which didn?t matter at the time) came that way from the factory.

Your posts raised the very interesting question as to how to do a conversion...and I was going to come back to it when ready !!

Firstly, could you suggest the best LEDs that you have found, secondly the best flasher unit and recap the question on hazard flashers!

...as I am now lost.

If anyone else has some "bright" anecdotes, solutions and recommendations (parts and suppliers) for instrument lights, then this would be really useful !

Many thanks

Andrew
