Sorry for the delay & the miss information, I didn't attach it to a metal brace, I attached it as in the photos to the fibreglass. Getting older sometimes plays tricks with your memory.
Hope this helps.

Modern external limiters are very discrete and don't need the heat sink boxes of yore. Mine's about 80x40x25.
You would have a couple of extra connections on the coil but the control box could be anywhere. If you wanted easy access for adjusting speed you could just put it in the glove box?
Mark.

They come up on eBay sometimes, I think our Lotus ones are the same speed as a Land Rover (?).

These are the right shape but wrong speed, you need one engraved 3250 RPM (they show ditributor rotation speed, hence that is 6500 RPM engine speed.

Strangely i found one at work today, the shape is right but has 3325 stamped on it which if google is correct would make it a Rover 2000 part. Might give that a whirl until i come across the correct one (better than nothing i guess)

Thanks guys.

Hello Folks
Just thought i'd share.........As above I wanted to use my 23D4 with a centrifugal rev limiter, but was having trouble fitting the electronic module beneath the rev limiter....well, problem solved, using an Aldon AU 142A which gives me 2mm + clearance beneath the rev limiter.
The Powerspark that I originally selected is significantly taller than the Aldon, and thus would not fit under the Rev limiter, so had to be discarded.
