Original Elan Sprint stop light switch - Missing bits

Hello folks
I know I keep banging on about this butI'm trying to restore my car with originality. I've posted on the stop light switch before, and because I could only find the back of the stop switch I purchased an after market replacement.
Subsequently, I have located more parts of the original switch (See Photo). Unfortunately amongst all of the other multitude of small parts ive got stashed I dont know what i'm looking for.
So, can anyone provide a parts picture of the switch internals please?
Thanks
Bob

Yep, realised that. But, what does the contact assembly look like?

I think it's a little like a copper washer...

If only manufacturers still made parts like they used to in the good old days.....................................

The breakdown recovery business sector would outstrip the financial services one :D

But at least getting that apart to clean up the burned contacts can be done without having to cut through ultrasonic welding and/or braking little plastic tabs that are meant for one time assembly only, then the challenge of how to hold it all back together again.

The Lucas switches (a guess) conveniently come apart for you of their own volition :D

Youre right.
This is made of Polyprop, its vey flexible. The base attaches to the top via a dog tooth form on the rim. When you pop it together its quite firm, but I guess that trying to pull female spades off the terminals could detach it. This is probably what happend when i stripped the car.
I think the copper washer idea is solid, but how was it held in place?
Any pictures?.....Anyone????

By the spring against the shoulder on the piston rod.
When assembled i put a hose clip around the outside of the body to stop it popping out again :)
