instrument bezels

I didn't notice the differences between the instrument bezels between my S2 and the Plus2 130S when I installed the 100 pound mechanical gauge to work with the Zetec in the Plus2. My original bezels are flat, rather than slanted, other than the outside temperature gauge, which is slanted. Are all Plus2 bezels flat? As the originals are corroded and in need of replacement, it makes me wonder if flat replacement bezels are available. This would be a future project, as at some point I am going to have to refinish the dash.

Early +2's had the std traditional raised, or slanted type bezels but +2 S & S130's had the flat type bezels.
They are available & very easy to change. Here's a link to the smaller ones, but can't find the 4" ones at the mo, but I'm sure I have seen them listed in the past.

Rob- I purchased everything to refurbish my instruments from Auto Electrical Spares in the UK. Could have hunted everything down piece by piece but figured that, in the long run, one stop shopping would save me money on shipping. ...and they take PayPal.

Thanks Chris. Yes, I will be making a trip to my favorite O ring store, Real Seal, here in town. World wide supplier, even AP has purchased O rings there. Name your poison, they have it.

The outer seals are square cut rubber gaskets. Only relevant if your a purest, but I know your not, Rob.

Just as long as the outer is a good fit, i cracked a glass using an O-ring that didn't have enough meat on it to stop the bezel making contact with the glass when i bent the tabs over.

Chris is totally correct. Auto Electrical Spares have the correct outer (between the glass and the bezel) material by the meter. It's easily cut to length and the ends joined with a drop of super glue.
My gauges had a heavy paper gasket (inner seal?) between the instrument body and the glass. I never found a source for those and reused the originals. They hadn't deteriorated like the rubber seals.
I was thinking of the gaskets between the instruments and the dash that are square cut.
