This may be a silly question, but . . . .
in looking at the S3 diagram I have most of the wires go to a long, thin, vertical box with cross hatching and proceed out the other side. Is this box indicating the firewall?
Thanks,

I should've also said that the connection (all the bullet connectors) actually happens just inside the body side of the firewall. So engine bay loom wires all go through a grommet/firewall hole and into the body where they then connect to the body/dash loom.

Thanks. Installing a fuse block with relays and will be able to rid myself of many of the bullet connectors.
