looks like ours has gone awol . googled this morning in vain for a replacement...
I know it's from ford consul/ mk1 escort originally but there just ain't any out there.....
looks like '60s triumph knobs are similar but there are quite a few different shapes and I'd like to try to hone in on the nearest approximation to the original.
I can't imagine I'm the first one to be in this situation ... so this is for those who've already found the solution. please share .
thx

not a help....but an option.......
it took me about 2 years to find one of those wiper knobs and I had to pay over the odds too......
however in the meantime just to appease my sense of OCD I changed all the knobs of that style and shape with new ones of the pull out variety that are for the MGB......think I paid about ?3 for 6 knobs.......just made all the knobs matching......
just a thought......... :?

Rich, they are from an Anglia not an Escort, although there are none on ebay for an Anglia currently.
They do come up quite often though.

You should have said, I had a few, I gave a few away, but I'm just down to one spare at the moment and as Mark says they come up on eBay quite often and for not a lot of money.

Rich,
Did you find the washer knob you were looking for. I have just found the correct type and you are welcome to the TR4 type I have used for the last 5 years if you want it F.O.C.
