Distributor O ring size

Greg,
I thought I could help, but can't find the O ring.
In my case the O ring was hard, brittle and broke when I removed it. I kept the pieces in a plastic bag which I can't find. However, I took the bits and the distributor to my local hydraulic company, who supplied me with a replacement from their stock of O rings. The new ring fits and seals, my only concern is with the grade of rubber, as hydraulic oil and engine oil may need different grades.
Hope this helps.
