Indicator lamp removal?

How do I remove these indicator lamps from the speedometer and tachometer? No combination of pulling and/or twisting or even careful prying seems to do anything.

The black plastic bit stays in,the metal lamp holder should just pull out...

The metal part should just pull out. Just like the previous poster says. This is really a simple procedure. Done it many times. Black part stays in place.
