I don't have one yet but looking.
I have seen rocker switches attached to the lower dash under the steering wheel on later +2Ss. What do they do?
Thanks

Scott- They independently control the "Fog" and "Spot" lights below the front bumper. On mine, I never could tell any difference between the two lights. They are mounted low enough that they work for fog lights when both are used at the same time and so low that neither works for a spot light.

On the S-130 they did away with this silliness and just had two fog lights, controlled by one switch on the dash.

On my March '71 +2S the lights are both fog lights and controlled by separate switches. I love toggle switches so I had a clever guy who does interiors make me a new panel with holes cut for toggle switches instead of rocker switches. Since both lights are the same I could have simplified the wiring to control both lights by one switch as Lotus apparently did on later 130 cars.

I have those two underdash switches on my newly acquired January '71 +2S. As I clean up some of the electrical issues on the car, I intend to use one of these switches to control both fog lamps, and the other switch to control the cooling fan (which currently goes on as a soon as the ignition is turned on).
