wipers no wipee.....

hi all
I don't often take the elan out in the rain, but had to today........noticed that
1. the slow speed doesn't work [can't remember if it ever did]
2. self parking doesn't work.


I could probably fiddle around and trace the problem, but autoelectrics is not one of my few strong points.....so, being a lazy b****r, I am asking if anyone can save me a lot of time and point me straight to the fault?

It could be a number of things. Faulty switch, broken/loose wire or a fault in the motor wiring. I would start by looking at the switch first.
