Elan S4 DHC loom routing to boot?

Sounds like a daft question! but I acquired an S4 rebuild in boxes, completely dismantled. Finally, nearing compketion, I undesrand that the heavy cable leading to the batrery runs up the inside of the ns sill, up and over the turret under the hood tray, but does the rear of the loom follow the same route to the boot area? Many thanks for advice.
Thanks, Peter

Thanks for the hugely helpful response....!
Having restored a couple of early cars , ie S1's where the loom passes straight through from the end of the ns sill up diagonally into the boot between the rear turrets, is irt the same case for an S4... ? OR does it follow the battery cable and go up behind the b pillar , through the gap above the inner rear wing under the tray and drop down into the boot from the top left ( looking into the boot from the rear) ?
As mentioned,, I've got no clues as there are no pclips or holes drilled on the body and I cant readily access another car for reference....Can someone please clarify. Thanks.

From the experience of my Sprint FHC, the rear wiring does indeed go up and over the turret, following the battery cable. This enables an easy connection into the boot lid for the number plate lights, where the wires enter the lid through a hole in the front corner, travel between the two skins, and emerge at the positions where the lights are mounted.

Indeed, prior owner was a professional music recorder / producer & installed a very high end sound system. I prefer the sound of the twin cam though.

Most grateful! However, I'd also be interested to know the factory spec-ie whether the loom was fixed in position with P clips or does it float around in the boot ? Thanks, Peter

There I can't help you. My car also came totally dismantled so I don't know what is correct, nor do I worry that much. The rear harness seems to be exactly the correct length and shape to go vertically down the rear of the turret and then around the spare wheel well coming to the tail in the channel between the wheel and the tank. Whether it was fixed in that position I can't say.
