How do you remove a instrument bulb from its holder

PostPost by: spyzee » Sat Oct 10, 2015 12:24 pm

Do you twist it to the left?
Do you twist it to the right?
Or do pull at the little blighter with all of your might?

Help:

This is the rev counter main illumination bulb and it's stopped working.

thanks,

Depends if you've got Edison screw bulbs or bayonet ones. If they will press in a very small amount eyre probably bayonet so push in and turn clockwise. Otherwise just unscrew anticlockwise.

Since it's burned out, just break the bulb and use needle nose pliers on the base to remove it. At that point
you should be able to tell how it comes out.
