Original fuel gauge???

I was sold this as an original S2 gauge. Did Lotus use Jaeger?

No, ours are Smiths.. at least in my Sprint...

Hmmm....certainly Smith's in my S4 too, but Colin did like what was lying around.

My early S2 has a Smiths FG2530 / 71. Yours looks like a later style with a dignity cover over the top of the pointer.

If it helps, in 1969 Lotus was using the Jaeger shown in Europas, where all of the other gauges were Smiths. Not sure about how much earlier.
