Wiper Sweep Angle/Blade length

Can anyone confirm what the correct gear is in the wiper motor to give the right sweep. Mine was originally fiited with 110 degrees which was far too much. I have just changed it to 100 degrees and even that angle makes the wipers just touch the windscreen rubber. I am assuming my wiper blades are the correct length at 14"??

On my +2, the wiper arm that rests pointing to the A pillar was shorter than the other arm. This helps to reduce the overlap with the windscreen rubber shown.
Funnily enough, I got some arms at a classic car show in better conditions than my originals but with the arms more equal in length. Now I have a similar issue!
I ended up rotating the arm upwards a notch on the spindle. This means the arm rests a bit high, but as I am tall this is not a problem. If this does not help for you, then you could try and get hold of an arm 1 inch shorter or so.
