Pete, surely (I know don't call me...) only Federal elans had fail safe headlights with a single vacuum pod??
All European Sprints had twin pods, the good news being your car is correct... :lol:

I put the vac units in a bin and fitted modern electric actuators.


Which electric actuators did you use?

Sooo roger french came from houston texas to help me to fix that vacuum button problem...

He showed up. I took the car out of the garage so we could work on it .

I pulled the light button to show him...and they lift up!!!!

As far as I know I have never scared anything, much less a button!
Still, it was great to meet you Cedric, thanks again for your hospitality and that really is a very nice Elan that you have.
