Plus 2 headlight vacuum

hi, bit of help needed.
Had the engine out the car for partial rebuild and headlights were operating fine. On reassembly headlights now go down when accelerator lifted but rise on acceleration. Carefully marked all pipes etc before dismantle and reconnected in correct positions. Do I need to have headlight switch pulled out so system fills or am I barking up the wrong tree. Cap and spring come off servo with minimal effort if knocked, does this have any effect?

Is the one way valve still in circuit on no 1 cylinder inlet tract ?

Feel sure it is on 4 where it was when bought the car nr the bulkhead
